DIY Irish Car Bomb

If there’s one drink that’s easy to spot across the bar, it’s the Irish Car Bomb. It’s not the most complicated to mix, and it isn’t the fanciest, but it may be one of the most fun. After all, the person drinking it is the one who has to time the drop, and (carefully) chug!

Ingredients:

Guinness - We suppose you could use any chocolate stout, but trust us, it just isn’t the same.

Jameson’s Irish Whiskey - again you could use any Irish Whiskey, but this drink is so simple and so classic you should spring for the full experience.

Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur - We swear, we’re not being snobs, we’re just trying to set you up right. Use whatever cream liqueur you like to keep, but we’re pretty sure it’s Bailey’s.

As the bartender your hardest job will be resisting the urge to mix the Irish Car Bomb yourself. Just set your friends up with the parts, and watch the fun ensue.

1 Bottle of Guinness
1/2 oz Irish Cream Liqueur
1/2 oz Jameson’s Irish Whiskey

Poor the Guinness into a glass 3/4 of the way full. Make sure you let the beer settle! Pour the Bailey’s and the Jameson’s into a shot glass and set it on the side. When you’re ready to drink (gently) drop the shot glass into the beer, and drink, drink, DRINK! It’s a race and an art form to chug this drink down in one go.
