DIY Daiquiri

You might not think of amaretto when it comes to daiquiris, but it lends itself well to this sweet and fruity drink!

The best part of making an amaretto daiquiri is just how open-ended it is! It’s the perfect crowd pleaser and will certainly impress your guests.

Ingredients:

Amaretto
Frozen Fruit - Really just about any fruit will work. Pineapple, strawberries, and mango are some of our team’s favorite!
Lemon Juice
Ice - This is optional. Adding a little bit of ice to your drink will thin it out a bit. Without it, you’ll have a thicker smoothie texture.

The first step in making your amaretto daiquiri should be picking out your fruit. Don’t be afraid to experiment and use what you can find on sale, or already have on hand. If you have fresh fruit, you can either freeze it yourself or use ice when you blend! Put all of your ingredients in a blender:

2 ounces Amaretto
2 cups Frozen Fruit
Juice from half a Lemon
At this point you can add ice if you used fresh fruit, or if you’d like a drink that isn’t quite as thick.

Blend your ingredients until they are smooth and pour into a glass. If you want to get extra fancy you can use that other half of a lemon to wet the edge of the glass and roll it in sugar before pouring for a sweet garnish!
